Domestic Abuse
You First Domestic Abuse Service – You First is the county integrated domestic violence and abuse service providing free and discreet support, advice and refuge to victims and survivors of domestic abuse and violence. They offer individual and group support, refuge provision and safe houses and work with women and men who are experiencing domestic violence and abuse. The refuge provision is for women and children and there are safe houses where they are able to accommodate men whether on their own or with children. Please note that all referrals are assessed at the first point of contact and space within the refuges and safe houses are limited. For all enquiries. including referral queries please call their free helpline on 0800 032 5204. It’s important that you feel comfortable seeking help if you or your family are not safe. You First can be reached by phone or email and will never do anything to compromise your safety or make you feel vulnerable.
